Erasmus+

Akademia Nauk Stosowanych we Wrocławiu, formerly known as the University of International Relations and Social Communication, received the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) for the years 2021–2027 in the European Commission’s application call in Brussels. This charter entitles the university to apply for funding for all activities carried out under the Erasmus+ Programme.

The ECHE Charter is also a commitment of the Akademia Nauk Stosowanych we Wrocławiu to uphold the principles it contains and to implement the provisions of the Erasmus Policy Statement for 2021–2027.

The European Commission’s Erasmus+ Programme 2021–2027 offers funding for student mobility for study or traineeship abroad, teaching and administrative staff exchanges, as well as participation in international educational projects of higher education institutions in EU programme countries. It also allows for cooperation with universities around the world, including those from so-called partner countries.

All projects and mobilities implemented under the Erasmus+ Programme in Poland are overseen by the National Agency for the Erasmus+ Programme, operating as the Foundation for the Development of the Education System (FRSE) www.erasmusplus.org.pl

Erasmus+ gives students the opportunity to undertake two types of mobility: STUDIES (SMS) at a foreign university with which ANS has a signed agreement for a minimum of 3 months, and TRAINEESHIPS (SMP) at a foreign university or company for a minimum of 2 months.

Erasmus+ offers academic staff the opportunity to travel to partner universities with the goal of TEACHING ASSIGNMENTS (STA) for students of the host institution. These trips may combine teaching activities with participation in training to improve teaching skills or curriculum development competencies.

Erasmus+ offers administrative and non-teaching staff the opportunity to travel to foreign universities or other institutions. The purpose of the trip is to PARTICIPATE IN TRAINING (STT) aimed at improving skills relevant to their roles at the home institution.
