In accordance with the educational standards, this program enables students to acquire knowledge, skills, and social competencies in the following areas:

• psychological and pedagogical preparation, including the foundations of pedagogical practice, preschool and early school pedagogy, and basic psychology for teachers;

• subject-matter preparation for preschool and grades 1–3 teachers, including readiness to integrate teaching content;

• supporting the development of children in preschool and early school age;

• the basics of integrated teaching didactics in preschool and grades 1–3 of primary school;

• methodology of various types of education, with attention to methods of integrating knowledge and skills;

• working with children or students with special developmental and educational needs in preschool and grades 1–3;

• organization of preschool and school work, including elements of educational law and children’s rights.
