Second-cycle StudiesThe National Security program at the ANS prepares students for professional careers in uniformed services, public administration, inspection agencies, emergency services, and other security-related institutions.

Crisis Management
1.The Crisis Management specialization focuses on developing the skills and knowledge necessary for effectively managing crisis situations and ensuring security. Graduates of this specialization will have knowledge of threat identification, crisis definition, and the ability to manage crises related to political, social, and military challenges.
They will learn how to develop crisis management plans for industrial environments as well as for government and local administration centers. The knowledge and skills acquired will enable graduates to identify critical facilities and infrastructure from a security perspective and to organize and provide protection in these areas. They will be qualified to hold positions at various levels of government and local administration where ensuring public safety and crisis management is required.
Cybersecurity
2.Graduates are prepared both theoretically and practically to work as specialists in national security and cybersecurity. The program trains experts in information security and protection, capable of working independently in positions related to the operation of information security systems and IT system security.
The goal of the program is also to prepare graduates to detect, identify, and counteract behaviors that threaten online security, particularly cybercrime. Graduates will possess knowledge and skills related to the functioning of network security systems as well as the methods and tools used to implement cybersecurity measures.
Aviation Safety Management (SMS)
3.The Aviation Safety Management specialization focuses on the analysis, management, and assurance of safety in the aviation sector. Students gain knowledge in risk management, operational safety, aviation law, safety management systems, and inspection and audit procedures. The program aims to prepare graduates for careers in civil aviation, air traffic management organizations, airlines, and regulatory institutions.
Students explore topics such as crisis management, aviation accident investigation, airport safety analysis, and risk assessment in the aviation sector. The program develops skills in managing crisis situations, decision-making under pressure, and planning and implementing aviation safety strategies.
Graduates are equipped to support and oversee activities related to airport safety, develop and implement safety procedures, and manage risk in the aviation industry. They may find employment as mid-level managers or members of aviation operations safety management teams within civil and military aviation institutions and organizations.
Public Security Management
4.The Public Security Management specialization focuses on the analysis and management of national defense and security aspects. Students gain knowledge in security policy, defense strategies, crisis management, military and police technologies, and defense resource management. The program aims to prepare graduates for careers in government institutions, law enforcement agencies, security services, and the defense sector.
Students have the opportunity to explore topics such as national security, risk analysis, strategic planning, crisis management, and defense policy. The program develops leadership skills, situational analysis, decision-making under pressure, and the ability to coordinate activities in the defense sector.
Graduates are prepared to support strategic defense planning, develop security policies, and manage and lead public security resources within the state. This specialization is mainly intended for officers and civilian employees of the Police, as well as individuals preparing to join or work in this service.
