The Student Research Group “Image and Emotion” at the Akademia Nauk Stosowanych we Wrocławiu invites all students of pedagogical disciplines who wish to broaden their horizons, develop professional skills, and gain experience in educational and art therapy activities.

If you are interested in pedagogy and art therapy, if you want to refine your skills as a teacher, therapist, or educator, and actively participate in the creation of inspiring projects – this is the place for you!

Goals of the Student Research Group “Image and Emotion”

  1. Expanding knowledge in pedagogy and art therapy
    Creating a space for acquiring and deepening both theoretical and practical knowledge in the areas of supporting the development of children, adolescents, and adults through educational and artistic activities.
  2. Developing creative and therapeutic methods of work
    Exploring art therapy and pedagogical tools that can be applied in educational, therapeutic, and caregiving contexts.
  3. Fostering social and emotional sensitivity
    Supporting students in developing empathy, mindfulness, and the ability to build relationships based on understanding and emotional expression.
  4. Organizing workshops, meetings, and educational projects
    Implementing initiatives that integrate theory with practice – including art therapy sessions, creative workshops, meetings with experts, and community outreach activities.
  5. Promoting the importance of art in education and therapy
    Highlighting the role of art as a tool for supporting personal, emotional, and social development, and promoting the idea of art therapy within both academic and local communities.
  6. Supporting the development of soft skills
    Enhancing interpersonal, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills through active involvement in the Student Research Group.
  7. Collaborating with external institutions
    Establishing partnerships with educational, caregiving, and therapeutic institutions to jointly implement educational and artistic activities.
